About Mushaf Tajweed
Mushaf Tajweed is a complete muṣḥaf, all 604 pages of the Madinah layout, in which every word can explain its own tajweed. Click any word and each of its letters reports the rules that apply to it, why they apply, and the exact line of the classical poem each rule comes from.
The annotations are not copied from an annotated print. They are derived, letter by letter, by ghunna, the tajweed library: an open-source engine that implements the rules as written in Tuḥfat al-Aṭfāl (al-Jamzūrī, 1198 AH) and al-Muqaddimah al-Jazariyyah (Ibn al-Jazarī, d. 833 AH), cited to the line. The riwāyah is Ḥafṣ ʿan ʿĀṣim by ṭarīq al-Shāṭibiyyah. The recitation context is honest: the وصل / وقف switch re-derives the page for flowing or stopping recitation, because the rules genuinely differ between the two.
The engine's output has been verified over the whole Qurʾān against independent datasets and against page photographs of the printed Dar al-Maarifah tajweed muṣḥaf, with 99.8% agreement; every disagreement site is researched and documented openly in the residue. This site documents rules; it does not teach recitation. Tajweed is received by talaqqī: correct recitation is learned from the mouth of a qualified teacher, not from any book or website. Use this site to understand the rules and their sources; use a teacher to learn to recite.
Attributions
- Rules and derivations: ghunna, the tajweed library (MIT), by Melissa Wiederrecht.
- Calligraphy and base coloring: the QCF V4 page fonts of the King Fahd Glorious Qurʾan Printing Complex (KFGQPC), Madinah, as distributed by quran.com. The color classes are re-derived at display time by ghunna; the calligraphy is untouched.
- Page layout data: the KFGQPC V4 (1441H print) 15-line Madinah page layout, published by the Quran Foundation through the Quranic Universal Library (QUL) and available there for reuse with attribution.
- Qurʾān text: Tanzil Uthmani, carried intact with attribution per the Tanzil terms.
- Geometric borders: Qurtuba, an Islamic geometric pattern library by Melissa Wiederrecht; the frame is the Eightfold Rosettes plate and the surah bands carry the Fivefold Obtuse, Rosette Center plate (Bonner 221-222/228a, Kharraqan east tower, 1088-89 CE).
Browser note
The colored calligraphy uses COLRv1 fonts with CSS font-palette, supported in Chrome and Edge 101+, Safari 15.4+, and Firefox 107+. Older browsers show the text without tajweed coloring.
عن مصحف التجويد
مصحف التجويد مصحفٌ كامل بترتيب مصحف المدينة (٦٠٤ صفحات)، كلُّ كلمةٍ فيه تشرح أحكام تجويدها بنفسها: انقر أيَّ كلمة فيعرض كلُّ حرفٍ منها الأحكامَ التي تنطبق عليه، وسببَها، وبيتَ المنظومة الذي جاء منه كلُّ حكم.
الأحكام ليست منسوخة من مصحفٍ ملوَّن، بل تُستنبط حرفًا حرفًا بواسطة غُنّة — مكتبة التجويد: محرِّك مفتوح المصدر يطبّق الأحكام كما وردت في تحفة الأطفال والمقدمة الجزرية، مع الإحالة إلى البيت. الرواية حفص عن عاصم من طريق الشاطبية، وزرّا الوصل والوقف يعيدان اشتقاق أحكام الصفحة لأن الأحكام تختلف حقًّا بين الحالين.
تم التحقق من مخرجات المحرِّك على القرآن كاملًا بمقارنتها بمجموعات بيانات مستقلة وبصور صفحات مصحف دار المعرفة المطبوع، بنسبة اتفاق ٩٩٫٨٪، مع توثيق كل موضع اختلاف وبحثه في المراجع المنشورة.
هذا الموقع يوثّق الأحكام ولا يعلّم التلاوة. التجويد يُؤخذ بالتلقّي: القراءة الصحيحة تُتعلَّم من فم شيخٍ متقن، لا من كتاب ولا موقع. استعمل الموقع لفهم الأحكام ومصادرها، وخذ التلاوة عن معلّم.

- الخط والتلوين الأساسي: خطوط مجمع الملك فهد لطباعة المصحف الشريف (عبر quran.com)؛ التلوين يُعاد اشتقاقه عند العرض والخطُّ كما هو.
- بيانات تخطيط الصفحات: تخطيط مصحف المدينة (طبعة KFGQPC V4، ١٤٤١ﻫ) الذي تنشره مؤسسة القرآن عبر المكتبة القرآنية الشاملة (QUL) ويُتاح فيها للاستعمال مع النسبة.
